Mini Pig Food Recommendations

There are a ton of suggestions for mini pig food brands out there — these are just my personal favorites and what I feed my babies! I will break down points as to why I like each brand!

  • Sharp’s Mini Pig Food
    • My first pick for a piggy!
    • Perfect if you have 1-2 piglets because it’s not the cheapest food.
    • You get what you pay for: NON-GMO, Real Ingredients, No Fillers, No Additives, No Junk!
    • I order 20lbs at a time (which is two 10lb resealable bags)
    • Each bag lasts approximately 3 months for me.
    • Created strictly for mini pigs from a small family business in Oregon
    • Ingredients you trust: steamed rolled oats, peas, pumpkin seeds…
    • Easy-To-Follow feeding schedule on the back & Free Shipping!

  • Mazuri Mini Pig Food
    • What I feed my 5 grown adults (the mature maintenance) (only because they are older and being out in the pasture it’s hard to portion control!)
    • Available in 3 age groups: Youth, Active Adult, and Mature Maintenance
    • Comes in a 25lb paper bag – best to store in a large bucket with lid to avoid moisture and bacteria growth.
    • Can be purchased at any Tractor Supply for $20 or ordered on Chewy.com. Also! Always check with your local feed stores to see if they carry it or can buy it for you and shop small if you can!

Food NOT to Feed Pigs:

  • Dog Food
  • Cow Food
  • Sweet Feed
  • Corn
  • Pig Grower
  • Pig Finisher
  • Any foods that have become slimy, moldy, or rotten!!
